Jim Reiser, a three-time world conference speaker and recipient of the 2004 US Swim School Outstanding Teacher Award, is available year-round for his popular "Swim with Jim" classes. Coach Reiser holds a Master's Degree in Physical Education with a motor learning concentration, as well as 23 years of teaching experience.

Coach Reiser also has his own instructional video series that has attracted the attention of USA Olympic Swimming Coach Richard Quick, who endorsed Jim's video saying, "Jim has put together a sound learn-to-swim progression that is both fun and effective." Another celebrity in the swimming world, Author and Legendary Coach Ernest Maglischo, endorsed Jim's video as well saying "Jim has produced some of the most interesting and innovative techniques I have ever witnessed for teaching preschoolers. His methods will cause children to look forward to their swimming rather than fear them. Because his methods stress fun as well as skill mastery, they will signal a lifelong love affair with the water for your young swimmers."

Coach Reiser also spent 11 years as the owner, head coach, and head age-group coach of Northeast Columbia Swimming and Team Carolina, a year-round USA-S swim club, where he and his partner Coach Curt Klausner led their teams to "Back-to-Back" S.C. Long Course State Titles and won 3 consecutive state titles for the boys' team. Coach Reiser also produced 60 individual state champions, 10 state champion relays, and 20 National Top 16 swimmers and relays along the way.

Coach Jim is available year-round for private lessons, semi-private, trios, and small group classes--but most of Coach Jim's classes fill within the first couple weeks of registration. Make sure you're on The Swim Lessons Company email list so you know when registration begins.
